I’m definitely a sucker for a good love story. I guess that’s part of what makes me love this job as much as I do. Nicole and Alex’s love story is better than good; they are living proof that true love knows no boundaries. When love is real, nothing can stand in its way. Their story is inspiring, and we were honored to be a part of their wedding day. :)
It was our first time shooting a wedding at Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards, but it became an instant favorite! This place is like a piece of heaven on earth. Everywhere you look, there is breathtaking scenery! Amanda and her staff have amazing attention to detail, and the entire event was flawless from start to finish.
So, I started out the day with Nicole and her girls at the Marriott! Check out the detail on this dress! LOVE.
I heart this shot…so much!
Ben started out his day with Alex and the guys. Another really cool thing about Becker Farms is that there’s a brewery on site where the boys can hang out before the ceremony.
This, however, is the resulting mischief that they may get into. (This photo may or may not have been organized by Ben…I’m okay with not knowing.)
Nicole and her dad walk down the aisle…
This is definitely GORGEOUS, no doubt about it.
As is this…see what I mean about breathtaking scenery?
After the ceremony, we did some formal-ish portraits…
As you can see, this group was deadly serious.
Some of our favorite wedding details…
An excellent cake smash capture by Ben…
…and a speech to be remembered (and laughed about) for ages.
The wedding party participating in the pulling of the “crackers…” (a British Christmas tradition). Nicole made all of them herself, by the way. I have no idea how she managed it, but they were pretty brilliant favors. :)
Everyone got a paper crown and a mustache…WAY COOL!
Super cute first dance!
And so, we leave you with some stunning night portraits. Apple orchards at night? It doesn’t get much better (or more romantic) then that.
Nicole and Alex – thank you so much for choosing us to be your wedding photographers! We enjoyed every minute of it, and we wish you both all the happiness in the world! :)
