Devon and Ken came all the way from Dallas to have their e-shoot in our fabulous city of Buffalo! They are getting married here next summer, and we are so, so excited to have them on board for our 2013 wedding season!! We had so much fun exploring some of our favorite local spots with them, and finding a few new spots along the way. I love engagement sessions. I love having the chance to get to know our couples before their wedding day! We get to work with some pretty incredible people, and Devon and Ken certainly fit into that category. They were so much fun, so happy, so easy going, so in love – EXACTLY the kind of couple that we hope to spend our time with. :)
We started out at Tift Nature Preserve (one of my favorite local shoot spots). I love this gorgeous pond, and the top of the hill at Tift takes my breath away every time.
This is a definite favorite…one of many. :)
Ahhhhhhh!!!! I love all of these shots in the tall grass!! LOVE.
After Tift, we decided to check out these old abandoned train cars sort of near by. We had been wanting to shoot with these for so long, and it finally worked out!
Then, we headed over to the Old First Ward for a few gorgeous sunlit shots with Buffalo’s famous grain elevators. :)
A quick outfit change and down to the waterfront, then over to City Hall for these stunning shots!
Devon and Ken – thanks for being such an amazing couple! We are SO happy that you found us! Can’t wait for the wedding!! See you soon! Much love, J + B :)
After twelve years together, Paul and Kerry decided to make it official with a gorgeous wedding at Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards! We feel so honored to have been able to capture these wonderful memories for them! It was a casual wedding with a laid-back vibe, and their details were absolutely fabulous – baskets of fresh herbs as centerpieces, strawberry jam for favors, and crumble-top pies for dessert. The ceremony was performed by one of our very favorite officiants, Michelle Snyder of Yellow Bird Wedding. If you are still looking for an officiant, definitely look her up!
Aren’t these just the coolest rings?! I love them!
And, we finished off the day with a beautiful sunset shot. :)
Paul and Kerry – thank you so much for choosing us to be your wedding photographers! Your wedding was so beautiful and you were such a wonderful couple to work with! We wish you both all the happiness in the world!! Much love, J + B :)
