“A good friend is a connection to life – a tie to the past, a road to the future, the key to sanity in a totally insane world.” – Lois Wyse

We’re about to post a whole bunch of e-sessions in a row, starting with Andrea and Pat!  My goal is to blog every day this week, but sometimes life and all its craziness gets in the way of my goals…still, I’m going to try.  :)

So, Andrea and Pat were pretty awesome to hang with…they had us cracking up non-stop, which is always a good sign that we hit the jackpot as far as couples go, and these two are exactly that.  We can’t wait to hang with them again at their Becker Farms wedding next summer!  We started out the session at Delaware Park, and took advantage of all the beautiful trees and stonework that it has to offer.

The light was absolutely gorgeous.  It’s always nice when you happen to be in the right place at the right time with the right peeps.  ;)
I love this shot!  One of my favorites, for sure.
After we were done walking around Delaware Park, we headed across the street to The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society to grab a few shots with the awesome pillars.  Andrea really wanted some pillar shots!  We shoot around this area quite often, as the pillars are “classic Buffalo,” so to keep things fresh, Ben threw a teal-ish back light up to create a different look.  I love it!!
After the Historical Society, we headed on over to the HSBC Arena.  I’m pretty sure (if I remember correctly) that Andrea and Pat’s first date was a Sabre’s game, so they wanted to grab a few shots there for sentimental value…super cute!
Our last stop was the new waterfront park right near the arena, where the Naval Park is.  This was our first time checking it out, and we were so impressed!  What a fun place to shoot!  I was also pretty excited to see a large yoga class taking place by the water.  How cool!!  Someday, when I’m not this busy, I will take a waterfront yoga class…someday.
I love this next shot so much…I think it might be my favorite from the session.  The color of the sky, the lines of the sailboat, the lamp post, the gorgeous couple – just everything!  I loved the little bridge that was there, too…so fun to shoot!
These last three in a row are pretty amazing, too…so hard to choose a favorite.  There’s just something about that sky…

Andrea and Pat – thanks so much for hanging out with us to create some beautiful images! We had such a blast with you two, and we’re really super excited to do it again next summer! Can’t wait!! Thank you so much for your patience during our busiest season – we appreciate it more that you could know! Much love to you both! – J + B :)
