If you haven’t been to the Buffalo and Erie Country Botanical Gardens lately (or ever), you should definitely check it out. It’s a pretty amazing place; so many different rooms, intricate displays, and hidden nooks and crannies that conjure up visions of “The Secret Garden.” All of these characteristics make it the perfect spot for wedding or engagement photography in Buffalo, especially this time of year when the weather is half-way between crappy and gorgeous. We met up with Annette and Chris for their engagement session at the gardens on one of those “half-way” days, and the results were more than we had hoped for! It may have been crappy-ish outside, but where we were, it was a jungle paradise. :)

This giant checkerboard rocked my world…so much fun!!
I think this one is my favorite…LOVE
Ok, I lied, this one is my favorite. It could possibly be one of my favorite engagement session photos of all time…AWESOME!!!
This one gives me a Secret Garden magical feeling…complete with a bird in the center of the arbor. Not sure if you can get much more romantic than this…LOVE

This globe is so cool. It’s right in the center of the largest room, when you first walk in. I envisioned this shot as soon as I saw it…
We shot a few around the outside of the building, simply because it’s way too cool of a building not to, but it was kind of cold and windy for wandering around. I do love these, though…

…and the wind does a number on our new fun umbrella. Thanks a lot wind. This shot cracks me up, though, so I had to include it! :)
Annette and Chris, thanks for hanging out with us at the Botanical Gardens. You guys are an awesome couple…we had so much fun! Looking forward to the wedding!
