“The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.” – Audrey Hepburn
Erin and Matt’s e-shoot was part of our traveling shoot-a-thon this summer. We drove from Buffalo to Watkins Glen, NY for the first of our many traveling sessions (which I wrote about in the last post), then from there we drove to Utica, NY to spend the night with my family and rest up for another long day of driving. The next morning, we woke up and drove to Boston, MA, where we had three shoots in a row scheduled. We made our way to Horn Pond in Woburn, MA, where Erin and Matt met us with a box of delicious cookies from a local bakery! What an awesome “welcome to our city” present that was! They were delish, guys….thanks again!!
Horn Pond is a place that Erin and Matt frequent for hiking and enjoying nature together, so they wanted to start out the session there. We think it’s great when our couples have places of sentimental value picked out for their e-shoots. Having photos taken in a place that holds special meaning for you is a fantastic idea, and when that place happens to be as gorgeous as Horn Pond, well…even better. :)
So, this is Horn Pond in all its beauty and splendor…it really was such a gorgeous spot for a shoot! Words cannot even express how much I love the last frame in this set, of Erin smiling at Matt. Erin, you are so naturally beautiful…I cannot wait to photograph you as a bride! So, after we wrapped things up at Horn Pond, we made our way to the Cambridge area, so we could grab some shots on the Charles River Footbridge. We had to park pretty far away from where we were meeting Erin and Matt (because that seems to be how things go in Boston), so we took a few shots of the footbridge on our walk over. :) I love the way these turned out! The color of the sky in that last one is just off the charts BLUE….love it! :)
Erin and Matt – thanks so much for hanging out with us in Boston and showing us some of your fave places! We had such a great time shooting you guys, and getting to know you both a little bit (and eating some delicious cookies!). Can’t wait to see you both again next summer for what is sure to be an absolutely amaaaaaazing wedding!! Talk to you soon! -J + B :)
