On our way home from Boston, we made one more stop in Dundee, NY on Seneca Lake for Denise and Dave’s gorgeous wedding at Glenora Winery! This was our first time shooting a wedding at Glenora, and we just loved everything about it. If you’re looking for a wedding venue with a rustic, laid-back vibe and breathtaking scenery, then Glenora Winery is worth looking into…it’s a fabulous spot for a wedding!

We met Denise and Dave through Denise’s daughter, Jackie, a very talented wedding cake artist in the Buffalo area and a friend of ours. When they told us about the vision they had for their wedding day, about their venue, and about the photojournalistic look and feel they wanted for their wedding photography, we knew they were the perfect match for us!  These two are a pretty special couple, and we were so honored to have been a part of their wedding day.  There is so much joy in these images, and we’re proud to have been able to capture that.  :)
Denise got ready in one of the beautiful rooms at The Inn at Glenora!I love how much this day was all about family.  The photos of Denise with her mom and dad below are some of my favorites from the whole day.  :)Even Denise’s grandson, Mason, stopped by to say hi before the ceremony!  He is SO cute!  The beautiful bouquet was handmade by Denise’s sister.Dave was ready to roll when Ben got there, but I love this shot he grabbed of Dave’s mom pinning on his boutonniere. The ceremony and reception were taking place in the same spot, so we were able to grab some detail shots before the ceremony, while we were waiting for things to get started.  All of the wedding details were perfect, and really represented the vibe of laid-back rustic elegance that Denise and Dave were going for!  That amazing cake was made by Denise’s daughter, Jackie.  She is super talented!Little Mason, the ring bearer, was the first one down the aisle, followed by Denise and her parents!

I love that last black and white shot of Denise and her mom at the altar…it’s just so beautiful. After an absolutely lovely ceremony, we took some family group shots, and then we got to walk around for a while with Denise and Dave for their couple’s session.  The gorgeous vines provided a fantastic backdrop for photos, as did the humongous willow tree that we stumbled upon. You guys look so good together!!  I love every single one of these!  You are such a beautiful couple.  ;)This one is a favorite, for SURE.After the couple’s sesh, we headed back to the reception so Denise and Dave could make their grand entrance and have their first dance! This is a fantastic shot by Ben…LOVE it!Then, there was a delicious meal, top notch Glenora wine, and a lot of mingling and laughter!I love this shot of Denise dancing with her father!Little Mason was so funny on the dance floor!  At first, he wanted nothing to do with dancing.  Then, he did, then, he didn’t…it was hilarious!  ;)

Denise and Dave – thank you so much for choosing us to document your wedding day! We had a wonderful time, and have really enjoyed getting to know you both a little bit. You are such a fantastic couple, and we wish you all the happiness in the world! (We also have to give a huge thank-you shout out to Jackie for recommending us! You ROCK!) Much love to all of you! – J + B :)
