This was such a fun wedding day! Ramon and Doneshia are so very sweet, and their friends and families are just as kind and wonderful! We really had a great time capturing these memories for them. :)
I started out the day with Doneshia and the girls at the Hyatt in downtown Buffalo. They had me laughing non-stop! Nadine Strother of So Chic Now was there doing a fabulous job with hair and make-up. All of the ladies looked gorgeous!!Ben started out the day with Ramon and the guys at the Marriott in Amherst, and then they all made their way over to Classics V to get ready for the ceremony! Ramon got a little emotional when he saw his bride. How sweet!! It’s a sign of true love, for sure. :) The ceremony was beautiful, full of joy, and so sweet! Right after the ceremony, everyone hopped into the limos and we drove about 5 minutes down the street to Ellicott Creek Park for some photo-magic. ;) If you’re looking for a place to take photos in the Amherst/Tonawanda area, this is a great spot! It’s beautiful, and usually not too crowded, which is always nice. We started out on one end of the park…. …and then we drove around to the other end, where there is a lovely bridge and super pretty light right around sunset time! Don’t you just love these wrist flower balls as an alternative to the traditional bouquet? I know I do.
These next two shots are two of my favorites from the whole of 2012. I love the bridge, the light, these fabulous people – just everything! Back to Classics V to cut the cake and get the party rolling!! Before Doneshia changed into her reception dress, we snuck outside to do a quick night shot in the parking lot behind the venue. Looks magical, doesn’t it? Totally Ben’s idea…he can make any parking lot look magical. Of course, it definitely helps to have a stunning couple in the frame. :) Our last shot of the evening in front of Classics V – I love this one, too!!
Doneshia and Ramon – we’re so happy that you found us! It was an honor for us to be a part of your gorgeous wedding day! Thank you for being so much fun and so easy to work with, and most of all, THANK YOU for being so patient with us during our busiest season. We appreciate it more than you could know! Much love, J + B :)
