Kristan and Dan were both getting ready for their big day at the Hyatt, so Ben and I headed over there to shoot some getting ready action! All the girls were calm and cool, just hanging out and enjoying each other’s company, while they took turns with fabulous make-up artist, Josselyn Scott. (I put a link to her site, because she really is fabulous – you definitely want to book her ASAP.)

This is, by far, the cutest wine label that I’ve ever seen.

Kristan looked absolutely STUNNING!

The lobby/atrium/whatever it’s called of the Hyatt is just awesome – perfect for some pre-ceremony groom/groomsmen shots.  Kristan and Dan booked a trolley instead of a limo, which was super cool.  Ben got some great shots of the guys riding the trolley around the circle in front of City Hall.  Also:  for Kristan :)

I love this shot…so much emotion everywhere you look.  :)

After the ceremony, we headed over to Mirror Lake to get some awesome wedding party shots.  I adore these next two…

Then, we were off to the reception at The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society! Of course, due to Kristan and Dan’s excellent planning skills, there was time for a few more portraits. ;)

One really, really great feature of the Historical Society as a venue is the upper level – perfect for getting a bird’s eye view of the first dance.  ;)

Have I said enough good things about the Buffalo Historical Society yet?  Well, just in case I haven’t, here’s one more – the lower level and the upper level are both museums with insanely cool displays.  Clearly, fantastic for portraits!  I’m totally in love with the shadows in these next two.
