I do love a beautiful Fall wedding! October is definitely one of my favorite months. It’s a favorite of mine for a lot of reasons, but in terms of being a photographer, I love the colors that October has to offer. I also love that I don’t have to be a gross, sweaty mess in the later Fall months – hooray for cooler temps! We started out the day at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens for a stunning ceremony! There is no better place to be on a chilly day than at the Botanical Gardens! Lyndsay and Dave’s wedding day was incredibly beautiful. The amazing foliage absolutely contributed to the beauty of their photos, but the real show-stopper that day was their love for each other. These two are just the sweetest, most in-love pair ever, and they have the most adorable little boys. We have enjoyed working with them from start to finish! :)
Dave: “My favorite moment of the day is easily seeing Lyndsay at the end of the aisle. She looked absolutely incredible and I couldn’t believe that somehow I was going to marry this amazing woman. It’s a moment I won’t ever forget.”These are their adorable little boys, Noah and Hunter! :)Lyndsay and Dave gave us an absolutely FANTASTIC schedule to work with for photos. We’re so used to working with an hour or less, but they actually built in two hours for photos, and we were loving it!!! We covered a lot of ground in that amount of time, so they have a wonderful variety of photos from this part of the day. :)
We made a quick pit-stop at Spot Coffee on our way to the downtown Buffalo photo locations, so I grabbed a few shots of Lyndsay with her yum coffee shake! Oh, those yellow trees!!!A super quick stop at Reinstein Woods for a few more shots, and then we were off to Salvatore’s to get the party rolling!Lyndsay: “Our first dance was my favorite moment of the night. It was the first real moment that we had a chance to be together, just the two of us alone even though we were surrounded by people.”And, what a party it was! ;)Ben set up some beautiful night shots outside in the parking lot! I’ll tell ya…the parking lot at Salvatore’s isn’t much to look at with the naked eye, but Ben has a knack for creating exquisite beauty with light. :)The Ayres Photo Booth was there in all of its costumed glory!! Good times were had! ;)And, to wrap things up, here is some excellent advice from our lovely couple!
Lyndsay and Dave: “If we could give one piece of advice it would be to make sure you take a breath and enjoy your day. It can be easy to get caught up in everything that is going on, and it’s good to remember to stop, take a break, and just enjoy your day. It’s going to go by so fast and it’s important to enjoy everything. We loved having the chance to celebrate the day with all of our family and friends, and want to thank everyone for taking the time to be there with us to celebrate.”
L and D – thank you so very much for choosing us to be your wedding photographers! We love the images we were able to create for you, and hope that they will always remind you of how happy you were on this day. You are an awesome couple, and an awesome parenting team! We wish you all the happiness in the world on your journey through life together!! Much love, J + B :)
